Expanding Hope: Healing House KC’s Clinical Capacity Growth

Healing House KC is launching a $2.2 million capital campaign to renovate The Old Hall, transforming it into a hub of healing and recovery. The main floor of the Family Enrichment Center (FEC) will house our expanded clinical services, while the second floor will provide four additional recovery apartments.

For the first time, we will be able to offer clinical services to individuals who do not reside in one of our homes or apartments, breaking down barriers to care. This expansion will allow us to serve nearly 500 individuals annually, up from 335, ensuring more people have access to the life-changing support they need.

Residential Care

With the launch of the Family Enrichment Center, Healing House will expand services beyond our residential programs, reaching individuals who live independently. This initiative is a critical step in serving more of the Kansas City community and ensuring that more people receive the support they need—when they need it most.

How the Family Enrichment Center
Will Operate:

  • Staffed by licensed social workers, counselors, peer specialists, childcare professionals, and family support specialists.
  • Open five days a week, with flexible scheduling to meet diverse client needs.
  • Facilities include therapy rooms, group spaces, and a childcare area to remove barriers to treatment.
